The Missing Swamp Children. A play written by Ruthanne for students at Independence School and Doylestown Community Conservatory of Music and Theater. Katrina causes mayhem and reveals a seceret community of some rather unusual, but very colorful swamp things. The play was performed with original music written by Ruthanne and students at both schools. This was the best summer fun!

Jack and the Cat performed at the Walnut Street Studio Theater. Large scale shadow puppetry, storytelling and live traditional music.

Jack and the Unicorn. Another mountain tale featuring Jack and his adventures with a wild unicorn.

Appalachian Folk Tales continue with a production of Mutsmeg. Featured here is the evil witcher woman. Munsmeg was performed as part of the DramaRama Festival in New Orleans, the New Orleans Children's Museum, Kraine Theater in New York City , Community Arts Educaion Center of Philadelphia, Puppeteers of America International Theater Festival in Asheville, North Carolina, the Fringe Festival and the Walnut Street Studio Theater. (Large scale shadow puppetry, masks, live traditonal Appalachian Music, Storytelling and physical theater.)

This Properties Condemned performed at the Tennessee Williams Fesitval. Blue Rose Moon was thrilled to be selected to perform at the Tennessee Williams Festival in Clarksdale Mississippi. The theater festival weekend was spent with noted scholars, novelists, friends of Tennessee, brother Dakin Williams, regional musicians and visual artists.

Spring Things....and The Butterfly Brothers and Sisters (adaptaion of a Hans Christian Anderson tale.)

Pandora's Box...the little evils got tired of being not so nice...they wanted to try on the angel wings! Whew!

We made chicken shakers..... drums....and danced as you see. What a great time we had calling the Great Creator to come down to Earth.

Ruthanne was selected to perform Ophelia as part of the Bloomsberg Ensemble Japanese Noh Theater programs.

Pretty Goes on a Picnic..... by Chloe Weber. Ruthanne's students loved learning about shadow puppetry. We developed tales of nature using shadow puppets and stories all created, written and performed by students.
